To celebrate the release of Winter, the final book in The Lunar Chronicles series, Book Addicts Guide has put together a special Lunar Chronicles Book Tag! So without further ado, here’s the tag!
CINDER | The cyborg
a book that’s often misunderstood or under appreciated
A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon
No one I know has read this book and it’s one of my favourite adult fiction books I’ve ever read. It’s all about a dysfunctional family and it’s so funny.
KAI | The prince
a book about royals/royalty
The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot.
This was one of my favourite series as a child/young teenager and had a big impact on me and my taste in books – Meg Cabot was one of my auto-buy authors for years.
ADRI | The evil stepmother
a book with a horrible/cringe-worthy parent
The Color Purple by Alice Walker
Celie’s father figure is truly terrible. He’s abusive and violent and just horrible.
IKO | The spunky sidekick
a book with your favorite happy-go-lucky character
Gabrielle from Heist Society by Ally Carter. Gabrielle is fabulous and doesn’t let anything get her down when there’s a heist to do, even a twisted ankle.
SCARLET | The rescuer
a book with a character on a mission
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
Cassie is definitely on a mission to save her little brother
WOLF | The fighter
a book with a brutal fight (with words or fists)
Geezer Girls by Dreda Say Mitchell
There’s some brutal fights between the girls and the geezer as they struggle to protect each other.
LEVANA | The villain
a book with the absolute worst villan
Abhorsen by Garth Nix
Orannis the Destroyer terrified me when I read this series as a child and when I’ve reread it still puts me on edge because it is so incredibly evil and powerful.
THORNE | The rascal
a book with the biggest schmoozer
Nightlife by Rob Thurman.
Robin Goodfellow is the most obvious choice for this one, he’s the ultimate charmer.
CRESS | The hacker
a book about technology, or sci-fi
Techbitch by Lucy Sykes and Jo Piazza
Techbitch is all about social media and technology and how it affects a fashion magazine and it’s amazing.
ERLAND | The doctor
a book with an illness or revolving around medical issues
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella.
Audrey has a mental illness and her anxiety is handled really well.
WINTER | The unsound mind
a book with the craziest character you’ve ever read
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Amy was completely astounding. She’s one of those characters where her actions seem insane but there’s so much thought into it that it’s almost logical.
JACIN | The soldier
a book with a military theme
One Dog at a Time by Pen Farthing
While it’s certainly about a love of dogs it does give a brutal insight into life on the front line.
Let me know if you do the tag and if you’re going to read Winter as soon as you get it.
I LOVE your choices! Gone Girl, right!? YES! Also adore The Princess Diaries, Heist Society, and The 5th Wave!! Thanks so much for doing the tag!!!
The Princess Diaries was a HUGE part of my early teenage years!
No problemo! Thanks for creating such a fun tag! 🙂
