Books of 2016

Here are all the books I’ve read this year. Last year I signed up for a couple of challenges and I (just) managed to complete them all. This year all I want to do is make a considerable dent in my TBR. I have a lot of unread books on my shelves, over 90 in fact and I’d really like to get that down to about 50 and to end 2016 on less books than I started with. I’ve set myself the target of reviewing 30 books, as I know I don’t review every single thing I read and I have been going through a bit of a reading slump at the end of 2015. Fingers crossed I review all I want to review and I make a big dent in my TBR!

I’ve signed up for a couple of reading challenges this year. Once again I’ve signed up for The Mad Reviewer Reading and Reviewing Challenge where I’m a Slightly Sane Reviewer, so I have to read and review 26 books throughout 2016. I’ve also decided to do the Bookish Bingo hosted by The Geeky Girl which has 35 different categories you can read a book for to fill a bingo card. This should help me read out of my comfort zone a bit more and I’m sure many of the books on my TBR can fill these challenges.

  1. Hi Elena! It’s Carrie here from The Mad Reviewer. Last year you signed up to read and review at the ‘Crazy Reviewer’ level. Did you manage to read and review 52 books this year? Even if you didn’t, head on over to my post and provide me with a link to your reviews and your total review count so I can verify your entry. Even if you didn’t reach Crazy Reviewer, there are still two lower levels you can be entered in for this year’s prize draw!
