Here are all the films I’ve watched this year. My film-related goals for this year are to watch 52 Films by Women (both directors and screenwriters) and to put a dent in my unwatched DVD’s and Blu-rays. You can find out more about what I’m reading on my Twitter or Letterboxd (which I am pretty good at updating).
So without further ado, here’s what I’m watching in 2017! Film titles bolded are films I saw at the cinema and films with an asterisk are rewatches. Any title with a hyperlink goes to its review.

I really wanted to see A Monster Calls, but no theater anywhere near me is showing it. Unfortunately, the closest one to me is an hour and a half drive!
Most of those films are brilliant. Do you have a list for the year or do you stumble across them without meaning to?
Thanks! A bit of both! There’s films I wanna see when they’re released in the cinema each year and I have a load of films in my Netflix List for various reasons – they might have an actor I like in it or be something I’ve heard good things about – so the films from Netflix can be a bit of a surprise, both good or bad.
I picked films like that- ended up picking about 100 terrible or weird films but surprises can be good. If one actor is good then even if the entire film is bad you can still like it.
