Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. This week it’s time to show off some book covers, more specifically the ones that have autumnal colours or we feel give off autumnal vibes. There’s definitely a lot of different shades of orange and yellow here but there’s a few covers that probably look out of place, with those ones I can’t really describe why I think they give of autumnal vibes – they just feel like books I should be reading as the nights get longer and darker.
Electric Souk by Rose McGinty
Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
Raised from the Ground by José Saramago
The Sisters Grimm by Menna va Praag
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
The Secret Fire by CJ Daugherty and Carina Rozenfeld
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
The Poisoned Island by Lloyd Shepherd
The Eighth Life by Nino Haratischvili
Kartography by Kamila Shamsie
Have you read any of these books? What are some book covers that you think give off autumnal vibes?
Great list! There’s so something so satisfyingly autumnal about that particular edition of Fahrenheit 451.
Thank you! Yeah definitely, I think the flames remind me bonfire night. I really need to get around to reading it…
Tiger Lily has such a pretty cover.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It is! It’s a shame I didn’t like the story behind the cover so much
Fab selection!
Thanks! 🙂
Fahrenheit 451 was such a good story, too!
My post.
That’s good to hear! I really need to get around to reading it, I think because it’s a classic I get intimidated by it.
So many gorgeous covers! I’ve heard excellent things about Tiger Lily but haven’t read it yet.
You’ve definitely chosen some great autumn colors here! I’ve never read anything by Saramago but I’ve always intended to. I read The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Pragh and really enjoyed it but haven’t read any of her other work. I should work on that.
Ooh that’s good to hear. I’ve not read any of her books before so I’m looking forward to reading The Sisters Grimm.
Orange is a color I would never wear but still really love. It’s warm and cozy and very autumnal. Nice picks!
Happy TTT!

Haha same! I think I have a handbag that’s a shade of orange but I wouldn’t wear any clothes that colour either 🙂
I love a good autumnal cover. Electric Souk might be my favorite here. I love the silhouette and the colors!
Same! I think the different shades on that cover are gorgeous
I love these colours together 😀 The Sisters Grimm is a book I’ve thought of reading a couple of times but I think most of the rest are new to me.
I love how you can find so many new to me books via TTT – it’s not so good for my bank balance though 😉
I love that edition of Fahrenheit 451—I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it before. And The Sisters Grimm looks like a lot of fun!
It’s an edition I got off a friend when he was getting rid of a load of books ages ago, I’ve not seen it anywhere else but I love the colours. Just need to read the thing sometime! 😀
Wow, that cover for Tiger Lily is absolutely gorgeous! And so is that cover for Fahrenheit 451 — never seen that one before 😍 Great picks! These definitely scream fall 🙂
Tiger Lily has a gorgeous cover! Also I’ve never heard of Sisters Grimm but now I need it.
Haha! It’s one I got in a subscription box and I’d not heard of it before I got it either, definitely want to read it soonish 🙂
