Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. In honour of Mardis Gras today, this week’s theme is to share book covers that are purple, yellow, green or a combination of the three. Turns out I don’t have many purple books but yellow and green ones are more common on my shelves.
Allah is Not Obliged by Ahmadou Kourouma
Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic by Alison Bechdel
La Bastarda by Trifonia Melibea Obono
To Best the Boys by Mary Weber
Thirteen Months of Sunrise by Rania Mamoun
Notes of a Crocodile by Qiu Miaojin
Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn
Trout, Belly Up by Rodrigo Fuentes
The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng
Black Moses by Alain Mabanckou
Are there some really obvious purple, green or yellow books that I’ve completely forgotten about?
Great list! I keep meaning to give Dangerous Remedy a try.
Thank you! It’s the one book on this list I’ve yet to read so me too! 😀
I need to read Fun Home. I was excited to see she has a new book out this year and then I thought I still haven’t read her best known one, what am I doing? 🤣
Haha! That always happens!

Thank you 🙂
Fun Home sounds interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Yeah I think graphic memoirs can be a great well to tell a story.
Great covers.

Thanks!
I’m so curious about Notes of a Crocodile.
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-about-mardi-gras/
I listened to it on audio knowing next to nothing about it and it was definitely an interesting read.
Great List! Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/02/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-pre-ordered.html.
Thank you 🙂
I love that cover for Dangerous Remedy, I really need to read that one at some point soon.

Me too! It’s the only book here I’ve yet to read.
I hope we both enjoy it!
I’m not familiar with any of these, thanks for bringing some new titles to my attention. Happy reading 😀 Here’s my TTT if you want to have a look https://readwithstefani.com/books-with-green-covers/
No problem! 🙂 It’s one of the joys of TTT – though my debit card doesn’t always see it as a joy 😉
It seems like purple covers are especially hard to find. Yellow and green are very popular.
Happy TTT!
