Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is, as the title suggests, books with character names in the title. This did take a bit of thinking on my part but eventually I thought of ten books I’ve read and enjoyed which had a name in the title. It’s been a while since I’ve read some of these so I don’t know if I’d like them as much now, but the first two books are still some of my all-time favourites.
Sabriel by Garth Nix
Lirael by Garth Nix
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Sirius by Jonathan Crown
Zorro by Isabel Allende
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
Lala by Jacek Dehnel
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
Have you read any of these?
Whoa.. I haven’t read Sophie Kinsella’s book other than Shopaholic. Will try to read it someday.
I definitely went through a big Kinsella phase when I was a teen/in my early 20s, read just about everything of hers I could get my hands on 😀
I loved Sirius by Jonathan Crown! It was actually one of the first books that I’ve reviewed, years ago.
Thanks for stopping by earlier!
It’s one of the first books I read for my Read the World Project so I have a soft spot for it too.
Not read any of these but recognise a few!
Haha! That’s the great thing about Top Ten Tuesday, you get to learn about so many new books even if you’re bank account doesn’t appreciate it 😉
Sirius looks like a good read!

Eliza and Her Monsters is one of my favorite books! Great selections. 🙂

Eliza made my list too, but I also loved Scarlet, When Dimple Met Rishi and Finding Audrey!
I really enjoyed the Lunar Chronicles!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I forgot about Eliza and Her Monsters! Oh, how I love that book! I almost put Finding Audrey on my list too. Too many books to choose from. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Haha yeah! It’s always fun when there’s too many to choose from 🙂
I haven’t read any of these, but I have Sabriel, Finding Audrey and Eliza And Her Monsters on my TBR!
I love Sabriel a ridiculous amount, I recently reread it yet again and I still think it holds up now I read it as an adult. Hope you enjoy them when you get to them!
Locke!! 😀
Lauren @ Always me
Couldn’t not have Locke on here 😉
Great list! Somehow I completely forgot about Locke Lamora, and I really want to give Zorro a try. 🙂
